Fenrir is a famous wolf in Norse mythology. He is the son of Loki and the giantess Angrboða. Due to his rapid growth the gods decided to chain him up to prevent him from causing chaos. It is said on the day of Ragnarok, Fenrir would break free from his chains and devour Odin, only to later to be killed by Vidar, one of Odin's sons.
